Provide Network Engineering guidance and architectural design on NIPRNET for the Regional Network
Enterprise Center on Redstone Arsenal (RNEC‐R) as well as the 7th Signal Command, 106th Signal Brigade,
Second Regional Cyber Center (2RCC) and RSA tenants. Duties performed at RSA included architecting,
upgrading, installing, testing, troubleshooting, configuring, provisioning, monitoring and implementing
scalable, robust, redundant and secure Networks for the entire RSA iCAN, DMZ and Server Farm
infrastructure with a wide array of network and encryption equipment. Team member that implemented an
entire network overhaul of over 1100 End User Buildings (EUBs) devices and 25 core network infrastructure
devices. Built out additional MST region for Army regionalization efforts to support Data Center
regionalization. Followed and worked OPORDs, Verified and configured Security Technical Implementation
Guides (STIGs) compliance on network equipment for CCRI/RMF/ACS Army accreditation. Worked with
Systems, Server Groups and Help Desk technicians to troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) and RADIUS issues.
Other tasks included Re‐keying, installing, configuring and managing HAIPE Type I encryption devices,
configuring firewall rules and VPN requests. Work Remedy Help‐Desk tickets from RSA tenants. Prevent, track
and identify Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or malicious network activity.

Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of the Digital/VoIP PBX and Voice Mail network supporting
over 3000 subscribers. Perform equipment software and hardware upgrades maintaining a high quality of
service. Diagnose outages and perform restoration on network trunks and local customer equipment.
TCF Technician, Camp As Sayliyah Army Base, Qatar, ITT‐EXELIS, Feb 2011 ‐ Jul 2012
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the physical, data link, network, and transport layers of
Strategic and Tactical Communications and Computer Systems; including connectivity to local and wide area
networks, end‐to‐end telecommunications and circuit‐switching systems. Worked with remote tactical
locations and critical end point locations in the U.S. and Europe. Managed monthly updates of encryption
keys and equipment to ensure secure services.
MSO Lead Technician III; MSO Implementation Engineer II, Ericsson/Sprint‐Nextel Communications, Nashville, TN,

Planned and implemented the migration of the Nextel cellular network consisting of over 800 cell sites in five
states, from legacy DS0 based equipment to IP based network equipment, including supporting equipment
with no outages. Planned and implemented the migration of external network connections from various
telecom providers to the local Sprint DWDM network. Wrote scripts for TDM, SONET, DACCS, Frame Relay,
and ATM network changes; including maintaining database of system documentation. Part of the team that
built out the Sprint EV‐D0 network. This included the configuration; testing and turn up of all new links and
associated hardware. Tasked with the maintenance and local troubleshooting of the Sprint‐Nextel
Communications Network. Responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of system
expansions and upgrades for the Network (including market cut plans; equipment receiving and distribution;
network design and layout; equipment commissioning and turn‐up; performing post turn‐up monitoring; asbuilt
documentation, and configuration of database). Act as point of escalation and technical support to MSO
staff, including complex problem resolution, managing network outages and restoration, and assisting in root
cause analysis. Perform trend analysis on system components and facilities to anticipate the need for
capacity increases to prevent potential failures.
